Under Pressure
Concept:
Under Pressure is a mod for Stardew Valley where the player delves into an altered version of the mines in order to solve a mystery involving a new species of Junimo known as the Earth Spirits. When the Miner, Rory, sends a letter to the player for help, they must gear up and dive down into the depths of an outdated mining project filled with enemies and rare materials.
Created as a group project for the Game Modification course (Fall 2024).
Character Designer/Pixel Artist
Designed new assets for the mod which included 2 new NPCs (+ their sprite sheets) as well as environmental props and items. Concept art was created traditionally before moving on to Aseprite for the final assets and animations. All art was made to seamlessly fit in with Stardew Valley’s art style.
